Great value. Average service. Food was lovely, it's great place if you've got young kids with you. Real ale needs a bit of work, but they've usually got one that's drinkable.
We went for our clubs Christmas dinner, service was fair if a little slow. Pre-booked large group would have expected a little better. Food was much better than recent years. Although all ingredients should be shown on a Christmas menu. I would be interested to eat there from their own menu to see how this rated.
Excellent, reasonably priced pub food. It's very spacious and has a good selection of drinks.
Only stopped by for a works Christmas drink but was a very nice pub with a reasonable range of ales avaliable including hobgoblin. The building is newly built specifically to be a pub witch felt unusual as such a thing is very rare but it fitted well with the local architecture.
Nice roomy place with decent pub grub, big portions, reasonably quick service. One of our party uses a wheelchair and access was not an issue. Sauces and custards came in little jugs which is great for portion control, not so great for custard lovers like me! Would recommend.
